Back in town
Well im back from Miami and I have a lot of things to tell you!!
First things first, in Miami I had a great time, i was with all my family, we had a lot of events, 9 in 10 days, it was crazy! i also shopped a lot, i bought t-shirts, sweaters, pants, a pair of nike shoes, a lot of stuff, really it was all very cheap, specially compared with the prices here in Israel.
The wedding was wonderful, it was like a fairy tale, really, my cousin Adriana who was marrying was incredible, she looked like a princess, my cousin Vero, her sister, was also amazing. My grandparents, my mother, my aunts, everyone was really nice and the party was awesome, lots of people, great music, lots of alcohol and a lot of party. We really had a great time.
Then on saturday we had a party for my aunt who had her 50th birthday, a lot of people came, my uncle made her a very nice video, my cousin alejandro jaegerman sang and a comedian came. He was sooo funny, he had a meeting the day before with my grandmother and she told him facts about all the guests and in the party he was like "I know your number is it ..." "Do you live in herzliya, your name is Moises and you are 18 years old?" it was incredible it was soo funny.

Then I came back to the real life to Israel, yesterday i had a trip to Sderot, it was very interesting but it was also shocking and scary. First we went to a place where we could see gaza from the distant and a guide explained us a bit of the story of the conflict, then we went to the city, the first impresion is that you see all around the city like concrete boxes,
some of them in the bus station, the tour guide explained us that those are shelters against the rockets, very scary really.
Then we went to some underground offices where they show us this video
Then we went to the police station were they show us some of the thounsands of rockets that have landed in Sderot in the last few years as you can see in the picture.
The "funny" thing about them is that they are made out of water pipes and filled with sugar canes, this is material that the israeli goverment provides to the palestinians for humanitarian causes, look what they do with that stuff!!
missiles!! that give you only 15 seconds to find a shelter and can kill 4 people with one of them.
At the end of they trip they show us how they do with the kids, for them to play safely. they built them an indoor gigantic playground where they can play with no danger, inside they have playstations, an indoor soccer pitch, basketball, jumping castles, games for todlers, computers, a music club!! everything they need...
We ended eating a shuarma and going back home... i will write you again next week, enjoy the weekend, and please let me a comment i like to know what you think about my blog!!

This one is in english
I’m writing this new post in English so more people can read me and at the same time y can practice my English writing skills... not only for my school (that I need it) but also because i have some friends that don’t like chatting with me if i commit mistakes (like Silvia) hahaha...
Well school is awesome, I really like it, I have many interesting classes like “communication, culture and society” “television studio”, “introduction to communication: theories and models”, Interesting classes but with teachers I really don’t like, like “introduction to propaganda” and “introduction to new media” and classes where I have a lot of fun like “English for communication”.
This Monday I'm going to direct my first scene in television studio!! With my assistant director Nino and my producer Lior, I'm so excited! I have been looking forward for this moment since class started one month ago. It’s just a scene but it’s a lot of work believe me. Now when I watch TV or movies I see it in a whole different way…
Last week I went with my uncle and aunt Sam and Gigi and my cousin Alberto to Kikar Rabin, to the commemoration of his assassination 14 years ago. It was a very emotive ceremony, the most important politicians of Israel where there, and also a lot of famous singers… the streets where crowded of people, it was crazy. I like all the songs and everything about the ceremony, but I didn’t understand the speeches in Hebrew so it was a bit boring, the only thing I understand was Obama’s message, because it was in English hahaha.
Tomorrow I have a trip called “other means of communication” and it consists on seeing how blind and deaf people live their day to day, I'm looking forward to it, it seems really interesting.
I have been in Israel already for 2 months and a half, next week I'm going to Miami to my cousins weeding and I'm really excited because I'm seeing my family, I miss them. I also miss a lot my friends in Madrid, my team of the maccabiah, my school friends… And during the summer I made friends in fb with some Finnish girls and now suddenly they are all weird with me, I really don’t understand why but I hope is only temporary because I really liked talking with them…

Impactante
Me disponia a actualizar pero hay una noticia que no me lo permite, mañana actualizo lo prometo.
Solo digo algo, que verguenza! Hoy se cumplen 71 años de la noche de los cristales rotos, y las nuevas generaciones piensan que el mayor asesino de la historia fue un entrenador de futbol...
Asi van las cosas... Unos gastando el dinero del estado israeli para irse de vacaciones familiares a paris (vease ehud barak) y otros que ni se enteran... pero cabe aclarar que no es culpa de los pobres niños... Si el holocausto no esta en su temario... que van a saber...
me gustaria saber cual seria el resultado de esta encuesta en España...

Orientation Week
Mañana empiezo clases!!! estoy muy emocionado, ya que mi primera asignatura es "television studio" que es en un plato de television profesional, que tenemos en la facultad, y en la que el proyecto final es grabar un programa de television!!!
Bueno, les voy a hablar de orientation week (apartir de ahora OW), que fue lo que paso en la uni esta ultima semana.. Antes de explicarle lo que es, voy a poner la explicacion que me dio mi counselor, que es un alumno de 3er año que me ayuda en todo lo que necesite..
Esto viene seguido por orientation trip:
Ahora mi explicación, En OW lo que hicimos fue conocer el campus, nuestra facultad, nos explicaron como es la carrera en detalle, como son las clases, donde entregar los deberes, si necesitamos libros (que no, esta todo escaneado y subido en las paginas web que cada materia tiene), nos dio una charla el publicista de sharon cuando era primer ministro, un hombre super gracioso sobre la actualidad de israel (www.awesomeseminars.com), nos explicaron que es la student union, como funcionan los derechos de autor a la hora de hacer trabajos, nuestras reglas, las actividades extraescolares que tenemos, tuvimos un concierto con un grupo de reggae israeli buenisimo (hatikva 6) y encima de todo, conocimos a todos nuestros nuevos compañeros.
Despues la orientation trip fue una excursion de dos dias, el primero fuimos a unos bosques donde hicimos un monton de como desafios fisico-mentales super divertidos, despues comimos ahi sandwiches y nos fuimos para jerusalem, a hacer el tipico tour, tipica vista panoramica, ciudad vieja, kotel,etc.. despues fuimos a la frontera con jordania que ahi, al lado del mar muerto, estaban los beduinos a donde ibamos a dormir, tuvimos una parrillada buenisima, despues una discoteca con muy buena musica, y a dormir... me desperte a las 6 por culpa de los putos mosquitos, fuimos a desayunar y en mi mesa porque le dio la gana se sento el director de la parte internacional, jonathan davies.. que nos empezo a preguntar a cada uno de donde veniamos.. habia un aleman que dijo que viene de una ciudad (ulm) donde nacio einstein y donde esta la catedral mas grande del mundo, y cuando hable yo me dijo "ahh tu vienes del pais donde nacio Chavez y donde mas atracos por dias hay no?" y no puede hacer otra cosa que reirme.. tambien habia un ruso en nuestra mesa, que no paro de discutir con el, el resto no nos podiamos creer la manera con la que le hablaba al director pero bueno, parece ser que asi son los rusos...
despues fuimos for 100 veces a EIN GEDI, y mira que prometi en la maccabiada no volver, y ahi me llevaron.. despues de 2 horas nos fuimos al mar muerto, donde me meti en unas piscinas pero no en el mar, ya que estoy harto y me da ya hasta asco...
bueno eso fue la orientation week, alguna duda??

You will get your schedules for the first semester and receive other important information and listen to different people tell you about the school and the activities you can take part in, as well as study skills and so many other things, I won’t even begin to list.

Orientation Trip is the first social/cultural event you will have at the IDC. This trip takes place on Wednesday-Thursday of OW. We leave at 7:30 and return the following day at around 7 in the evening. The trip doesn’t cost you anything and is probably the best possible way to meet the people you are going to be studying with for the next three years.

sorry!!
Perdon por haberlos abandonado tanto tiempo... la cosa esque entre yom kipur, estar cambiando de ciudad, y que estuve los ultimos dos dias enfermo en cama, tampoco tuve mucho tiempo...
Ademas que no muchas cosas me estan pasando ya que todavia no empeze de verdad la uni, que la empiezo el 11 asi que ya tendre mas novedades...
Asi de cosas importantes, pues me vine antes de yom kipur a casa de mis tios y nose que me paso que dormia en las mañanas y veia pelis en las noches... me dio como un cambio de hora bastante raro jajaja eso si, el madrid siguio goleando, y ya van 7 partidos seguidos ganados, yo no digo nada, pero esto huele mejor que madrid 2016... que por cierto, madrid 2020 a saco... a quien no saben quien es la primera rival?? VENECIA, si lo juro, parece que su punto fuerte son los deportes acuaticos jajaja, ahora lo de los deportes terrestres no se como lo llevan jajaja
Pase yom kipur con mica lasry en jerusalem y bastante bien la verdad, tenia muchas ganas de verle y la gente con la que esta me cayo muy bien y la pasamos chevere, ademas que es un lujo acabar el ayuno a las 6...
El resto de la semana fue de lo mas normal, tuve mi examen final de ingles y es como los de selectividad, no pones el nombre para que no te reconozcan y tienes que poner el numero de tu dni, el truco esta en que tienes que darles el dni antes y ponerlo de memoria, asi que tela porque yo no tenia ni puta idea de mi numero, pero por ser la primera vez nos dejaron verlo...
Hoy publicaron aqui en israel un video de Guilad Shalit, liberenlo porfavor, en el cual leia un periodico del 14 de septiembre y se le veia saludable, aunque muy flaco.. aunque esto son buenas noticias a la gente aqui le traumatizo mucho el video, les daba ganas de llorar... y dejar claro que solo por el video, israel libero a 20 terroristas arabes, acusadas de intentar inmolarse en diversos sitios publicos... 20 terroristas por un video de un soldado que esta secuestrado... asi es israel para que vean...
Pero bueno que esperemos todo salga bien..
Ahora, les formulo una duda que tengo, tengo que elegir mis opcionales y no estoy seguro de cuales elegir, asi que les dejo una encuesta para que me den una pequeña ayuda, cualquier explicacion o sugerencia que me quieran dejar, no duden en firmarme que me alegra los dias la verdad
